Sherwood Seals is a purely voluntary run club and we rely on our volunteers, fund raisers, members, parents and carers to keep the club running for our swimmers.
The benefits of volunteering for Sherwood Seals are that the club will then consider paying and supporting you in obtaining Swimming Teaching qualifications providing you continue to support the club in volunteering. These qualifications as well as the valuable experience of teaching swimming in this environment could give you a head start should you wish to pursue a career in this field.
All club volunteers must have a Criminal Record Bureau (CRB) check completed by the ASA before being allowed pool side or in the water with any of our swimmers.
