Who Are We?
Sherwood Seals is a voluntary supported swimming club and registered charity (Reg Charity No: 245283) set up for children and adults in Mansfield and Nottinghamshire with disabilities. We aim to provide a safe and supportive environment for people with a disability to learn to swim, socialise and achieve to the best of their ability.

The club meets every Monday night in school term time between 6.30pm and 8pm at the
Rebecca Adlington sports centre in Mansfield. We have qualified swimming teachers on hand to support our members in gaining their confidence in the water, as well as a full complement of trained lifeguards to ensure everyone can swim in safety.
Sherwood Seals is affiliated to the British Amateur Swimming Association (ASA) so ensuring that all of our members are fully insured. Membership with us also provides you with membership of the ASA.
Code of Conduct, Child Protection, Equality & Inclusion
To support our members and ensure that Sherwood Seals is a safe and enjoyable environment we have developed our own Seals Code of Conduct, as well as devleoping a Sherwood Seals Child Protection Policy and Sherwood Seals Equality and Inclusion Policy.
